Student Home Use
There are 2 options for student licensing through ESRI:
(1) ESRI offers ArcView and ArcView extensions to currently enrolled students at a significant discount. Students may purchase ArcView and ArcView extensions directly from ESRI for home use.
First you will need to fax proof of academic standing (printed class schedule with your name and date on it) to the attention of Educational Sales at (909) 307-3049. You can then follow up with the Telesales Department at (800) 447-9778 to verify pricing and arrange payment and shipping. A 1-year license for ArcEditor is available for $100, and ArcView with no time-out date is available for $250.

(2) ESRI also offers an ArcGIS ArcView and ArcEditor Student 1-year license (which needs to be requested by faculty or staff) for use by students taking GIS-related courses or programs at colleges and universities that are a part of an ESRI campus-wide site license. NOTE: This option does NOT include ESRI Tech Support – the faculty providing the software to the students will need to provide help to the students.
