Operating Systems Supported

COSINe supports operating systems from Microsoft, Apple, Redhat or Suse within 6 months of their general release and which continue to be supported with regularly released security patches and updates by their respective vendor.

Support includes installation of operating system, OS patches and updates, and trouble-shooting involving common hardware or applications; e.g.  errors in network connectivity or printer drivers.

Because of the plethora of application software, support for applications is limited to installation of  validly licensed software. Installation support includes trouble-shooting problems with the application; e.g Microsoft Word crashes or cannot print. COSINe does not, however, provide functional application support; e.g. "how do I mail merge?"  Most programs have built in tutorials you can access by going to the Help menu on the right hand side of the pull-down menu.
