Obtaining Software

Software not included in the standard build (see Software Installed on a new computer) requires that a license be purchased prior to installation. Most of the often-requested software can be purchased from either TSS or COSINe, however, media is usally not included with the license.

Software is typically installed by the Helpdesk Staff or from the TSS software server.

The university gets discounts on many software packages.  Before ordering from the vendor, please check the current discounted price list.
