We are moving the COS Print Server COSPRINT to more capable hardware. The new print server will be called COS-PRINT. The migration will be done in phases.
The first phase will be to move network printer objects on Domain computers. Network printers on Domain computers will be programmatically re-mapped to use the new printer server. This will occur on logon and should be seamless. This will be done in stages based on departments. We will notify each department prior to migration.
The second stage will be to move network printer objects on non-domain computers. As we cannot directly migrate printers on non-domain computers, we will at this time create a pointer from the old print server name COSPRINT to the new print server name COS-PRINT. In most cases, this work without user intervention. However, we recommend that users re-add their printers to use the new print server. Printers that have newer print drivers on the new print server may causes issues otherwise. Instructions on how to do this are posted at:

The final stage will be to retire the old print server after we see it stops receiving new print jobs.
