Background:
Adobe Acrobat and Reader PDF software has had a number of recent vulnerabilities (again). The vulnerabilities affect both Adobe's Macintosh and Windows versions of these software programs. Adobe has now released updates to fix these security issues.
Vulnerable Versions:
Adobe Acrobat & Reader 9.1.1 and earlier
Adobe Acrobat & Reader 8.1.5 and earlier
Adobe Acrobat & Reader 7.1.2 and earlier
Action:
COSINe will update Adobe Acrobat and Reader on SCIENCE domain computers. Please check the version of Adobe Acrobat and Reader on your own machines and update them as necessary. To update, please run the Adobe Updater included in these programs. The Adobe Updater is available via the file menu at Help --> Check for Updates...
