A file system error on frontend, the server that manages user home directories on Z: and incoming/outgoing science mail, has precipitated the need to boot the server.
Z: will be unavailable during the boot and subsequent file system check. Outgoing mail will also be queued and deliver after the system returns. Recovery time depend on the severity of the file system problem.
