Creating a PDF file from any document
The standard program used to create PDFs is Adobe Acrobat Professional.
See the Services/Fees section for a current price for this software
If you do not need all the features of Acrobat (such as scanning to a PDF), there are several free PDF print drivers that can create PDF files. COSINe’s capability to support these is limited.
You can also use the PDF printing features of the science server for free. To use it go to START, RUN and type in \\sci-main\

Right click on Cups-PDF and click Connect...

You now have a printer called PDF Writer on Sci-Main, when you print to it it will create a PDF file on your Z: drive in a folder called pdfout
Other free PDF printers included (support from us is limited):
PDFCreator
Primo PDF
PDF redirect
